Eddy Current Separator
Eddy current separators are primarily used to recycle nonferrous metals from industrial and household waste, in a size ranging from small slivers to large chunks. Nonmagnetic metals with a diameter of more than 2mm are recycled with an efficiency of more than 92%. Our eddy current separators feature a strong, durable structure, ensuring the long service life, even if working with harsh materials. It features the following applications:
During operation, there is a high frequency alternating electromagnetic field on the surface of the magnetic roller. When the nonferrous metal passes the magnetic field, a current will be induced in the metal, which will then generate a magnetic field that opposes the field created by the rotor. This ensures nonferrous metals will free fall over the roller in order to separate it from other, nonmetal materials.
- This equipment is highly automatic, and will continuously separate ferrous and nonferrous metals.
- It utilizes a neodymium magnet that generates a high intensity magnetic field.
- The magnetic roller and conveyor pulley speed can adjusted based on material size and conductivity.
- The sorting board height is adjustable for sorting different materials.
- It is equipped with a failure warning system to ensure timely maintenance.
- Easy to operate and smooth operation

In order to achieve an optimal separation rate, vibrating feeders are usually used to produce an even material flow. Its high performance is best seen when dealing with small sized particles, and we recommend the use of a magnetic separator to sort out ferrous metals to avoid machine damage.
